Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! PPA offers part time care on a limited basis. Part time students must be enrolled as either Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday. 

No, PPA does not offer drop in care. All students must be registered with PPA in order to attend. 

PPA offers care for children starting at 6 weeks of age through Pre-K 4. PPA also offers before & after school care for students in the Ponchatoula School District for the following schools: Perrin Early Learning Center, Tucker Memorial Elementary School, D.C. Reeves Elementary School, & Martha Vineyard Elementary School. Summer Camp is offered for school aged students up to 12 years old. 

PPA’s tuition is dependent on your child’s age and enrollment type (full time or part time). Call us for more details on our current enrollment rates! 

PPA charges an annual $115 registration fee, which includes a PPA t-shirt for your child! Additionally, PPA charges a $50 supply fee each semester (fall, spring & summer).

Yes, PPA accepts CCAP! **The parent is responsible for all expenses not covered by CCAP**

All Lead Teachers at PPA must either have their CDA (or higher / equivalent) or be working towards securing their CDA (or higher / equivalent). 
All employees of PPA are CPR certified.
